This concept I developed while looking at the content of the individual stories. I wanted to capture the wonderful personalities of these women making strides in the culinary community here in Hampton Roads and combine that with what they work on every day, such as pastries and cakes. I wanted the look to be a clean “hero shot,” which I think photographer Todd Wright and I accomplished. The colors are super vibrant and fun. A total pleasure to work on.
